A second collection from the prolific Rice Brothers Gang, led by Hoke (mainly tenor banjo, also guitar) and Paul (bass and guitar), various line ups, many jazz tinged but although they could do fine upbeat swing their sound was distinctive, falling somewhere between the developing ‘Western Swing’ and Eastern/South Eastern jazz. This collection includes their recording of the evergreen classic You Are My Sunshine (which Paul Rice composed but sold the rights to, apparently during a low-cash crisis!)
