March 29th, birthday of the great honky tonk pianist Moon Mullican (March 29, 1909 – January 1, 1967) and big influence on Jerry Lee Lewis. Mullican’s early influences were 1930s blues and country/blues artists such as Blind Lemon Jefferson, Bessie Smith and Jimmie Rodgers.
