16 Jul. Birthday of country music performer and broadcaster RAMBLIN’ LOU SCHRIVER (b. 16 July 1929), popular in the Niagara Falls region of New York State back in the late 40s / early 50s and whose Twin Pine Mountaineers band included his multi-instrumentalist wife Joanie Marshall, who played guitar, fiddle and banjo.
BACM’s CD features a nice mix of original compositions, traditional songs and classic country songs like Gene Autry’s Silver Haired Daddy Of Mine, Roy Acuff’’s Radio Station SAVED and Hank Snow’s Brand On My Heart.
