March 5th 1963. Remembering “Cowboy Copas” (Lloyd Estel Copas) (July 15, 1913-March 5, 1963). Had his big break in 1943, replacing Eddie Arnold as lead vocalist in the Pee Wee King band, and became a regular on the Grand Ole Opry. The Archive have so far issued three CDs with a total of around 80 songs, pure country/ honky tonk featuring this fine singer, guitarist and songwriter.
