4 April- anniversary of Terry Fell (13 May 1921- 4 April, 2007), American country singer/songwriter, best known for his 1955 country hit Truck Driving Man which spawned a new subgenre of country music. Some of his early recordings feature a young guitar player Buck Owens whom Fell briefly managed. BACM have compiled two CDs of his recordings, one featuring several early (1940s) recordings with Western Swing steeler Leodie Jackson.
