12th December-remembering pioneering Australian country singer/songwriter Buddy Williams (5 Sep 1918 – 12 Dec 1986);  he first sang professionally in 1936 (‘The Yodeling Jackaroo”) and made his first recordings in 1938. A selection of his 1940s/50s recordings are showcased in BACM CD 155, mix of American country songs and Williams’ trademark Bush Ballads.
