12 November – remembering Dolly Good (Dec 11, 1915 – Nov 12, 1967) , one half (with sister Mildred) of old timey country music act The Girls of the Golden West. They were popular in the 1930s and 40s, with their close harmony renditions of sentimental and cowboy songs, accompanying themselves on guitar and featuring their harmony yodelling. Recording on Bluebird and Bluebonnet they left a legacy of fine recordings.
